“The New Horton Village Hall”
We have just completed the installation and commissioning of Daikin heat pumps to the new village hall in Horton, Somerset.
The inverter driven heat pumps are installed in all areas of the building providing heating and air conditioning. Therefore eliminating the need for a heating system and allowing heating and cooling with the same unit. Thus reducing energy costs throughout the year.
The system consists of air-to-air heat pumps whereby the heat pump extracts heat/energy from the outside air and transfers the heat indoors. Heat pumps are therefore much more energy efficient than other heaters.
The system that we have installed at Horton in comparison to a conventional heating system will probably reduce the energy costs from between 50% - 75%. Thus making Horton probably the most energy efficient and eco green friendly village hall in the area.
Our photographs show the outdoor units that supply the main hall, store area, kitchen and meeting rooms.
